Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TotalAV software and services ("Service") provided by Total Security Ltd ("Provider", "we", "us"), 3rd Floor, The Liffey Trust Centre, 117–126 Sheriff Street Upper, Dublin 1, D01 YC43, Ireland.
By downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
1.1. TotalAV is an antivirus and cybersecurity software suite providing real-time protection against viruses, malware, ransomware and online threats, together with system optimisation and privacy tools.
1.2. The Service is available on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices, subject to minimum system requirements.
2. Subscriptions and Pricing
2.1. TotalAV Plus is available at £19 for the first year (introductory price). After the initial term, the subscription auto-renews at £99 per year until cancelled.
2.2. All prices include applicable VAT. Payment is collected via the card provided at sign-up.
2.3. You will receive a renewal reminder before your subscription renews. You can cancel at any time to prevent renewal.
3. Money-Back Guarantee
3.1. TotalAV offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on annual plans. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of purchase, contact support at support@totalav.com for a full refund.
3.2. Monthly plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee.
4. Cancellation
4.1. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support at support@totalav.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4.2. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period beyond the money-back guarantee window, unless required by law.
5. Licence
5.1. The Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on the number of devices included in your plan, for personal use only.
5.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse-engineer the software.
6. Availability
6.1. The Provider aims to keep the Service available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and updates may temporarily affect availability.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider's liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7.2. The Provider is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages.
7.3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Privacy
8.1. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
9.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a UK or EEA consumer.
10. Amendments
10.1. The Provider may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
